ninihello, the name's Varik (my English first name, Veritable, is fine too). Right now I'm a teacher, but I've had a lot of jobs over the years — some unsavory, some not. You're well within your right to dislike me for that, but don't make it my business.

interests

• I'm a pro at every card game, board game, and whichever other luck-based game that you can think of, being the viya of probability and luck. I welcome y'all to try and beat me in any of 'em, but it ain't gonna work.
• I've been riding horses for a good few centuries, and I can ride cattle too. Favorite horse of mine was a bay American Quarter Horse named Knucklebit. I don't offer lessons professionally, but if you want a few pointers then I'm happy to share what I know.
• I spend a lot of time reading, mostly books and journal articles about mathematics.

fun facts

• Used to be a statistics professor at the University of New Orleans, 'til I got outed as a viya — long story. Ask Landon about it if you really wanna know what happened. They're my kid, so they were there.
• I'm still the only viya that needs to eat human food to survive. I'm a real sucker for cherry pie, but seħut was my first favorite food. REAL seħut, not the facsimile they cook today.
• Nobody believes me when I say it, but I met Jesus once a couple thousand years ago. We looked pretty similar, which I still find funny. I don't get along well with preachy types, but he seemed like a dependable fellow.
